Looks like TPMCafe has finally launched. Thank the stars. There is finally another go-to community site for Democrats. It's clearly more serious-minded than Daily Kos. If I see another "chickenhawks should go die in Iraq!" post at dkos, I'm going to scream.

I'm getting my second wind. I've sort of had an underneath theme shift going on recently. You can only do so many blog entries with graphs and statistical studies. At least, they can't be your bread and butter - too much effort expended per blog entry.

I love this site. Your analysis of issues is the most technically proficient I have seen.
But let's face it, nobody's posting here. Some of the posts here from you just rile me like..."I've become tired of blogging about politics" ...what???
What is the root word of the site?
And I'd like to reiterate "chickenhawks should go die in Iraq!" or at least they "should go and sign up to fight". Because, heck, if all the batshit wingnut freaks from the RR signed up; we'd win the war, grab the holy land, and they could have all the light sweet crude to bathe in that they'd ever dreamed of.
Jeez. Both my grandfathers rushed to sign up for WWII. One got in and flew missions from Bueno Aires to North Africa to bolster the supply lines for the war. The other was 4F'ed twice and couldn't go but kept trying to cheat to get in the whole time.
Where's the sacrifice now?
